Durham Parks and Recreation

Durham Parks and Recreation provides opportunities for the Durham community to "Play More." We strive to help residents to discover, explore, and enjoy life through creative and challenging recreational choices that contribute to their physical, emotional, and social health.

YMCA Of The Triangle

The Y is committed to nurturing the potential of children, promoting healthy living and fostering a sense of social responsibility. With locations across the Triangle, options for fitness, wellness, and community opportunities abound.

SEEDS

SEEDS is a urban sanctuary located in the heart of Downtown Durham that seeks to promote organic gardening, sustainable agriculture, and environmental stewartship. SEEDS offers several opportunities for children to learn more about gardening in after school programs and summer camps.

Veggie Van

Veggie Van is a mobile market that delivers high-quality, low cost produce fresh from North Carolina farmers every week to locations throughout Durham.
