About the Author

Jenny Favret, MS,RD, LDN,  is a registered dietitian with the Duke Pediatrics Healthy Lifestyles Program.  Her education includes a master’s degree in Human Nutrition from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University.  She holds certificates in both adult and pediatric weight management from the Academy of Dietetics and has also completed advanced training in the dietary management of eating disorders.

Jenny’s passion is to help kids, teens and their families to restore the joy of eating!  She understands the challenges of time, money and food marketing pressures that families face when it comes to creating a healthy food environment for the home.  Jenny loves being able to play a role in helping families to overcome these challenges as they move toward improved food choices and eating habits.
