Safelink Wireless is a government benefit program that provides U.S. government free phones and service assistance. Only eligible consumers may enroll. Subscribers get up to 350 minutes and 3GB of data.

Many North Carolina residents are being asked to work and learn remotely. To help ensure they can access high-speed internet, North Carolina Department of Information Technology has compiled a list of new and existing free or affordable service offerings from vendors across the state.
Resources from Internet Providers
Duke University has created a list of Internet providers that provide free or reduced internet to qualified customers, if you don’t have reliable access to the internet. The following carriers provide WiFi hotspots and allow you to join their network using your account credentials: Spectrum, Frontier, Cox and Xfinity.
