Summer Strategies to Avoid Boredom (and snacking!)
School is out for summer!! Many kids gain weight over the summer months because of boredom snacking. Remember... to ALWAYS make sure that you are actually hungry before eating a snack. If you are NOT hungry then do something to help you forget about food:
Go for a walk.
Draw a picture.
Put on music and dance.
Write a story.
Make up a new exercise move.
Try making your own list of things that you can do this summer to get your mind off of food!
